BANGOR, Maine — Bangor police continue to investigate a reported robbery that occurred at a Broadway coffee shop Tuesday night, and police have surveillance images of the perpetrator.

Sgt. Paul Edwards said Wednesday afternoon a single female suspect is responsible for the robbery.

The woman walked up to the drive-thru window, allegedly demanded cash and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to Edwards.

The sergeant would not say whether or not the suspect had a weapon.

A police K-9 unit canvassed the restaurant, which closed for business early while police investigated, but did not locate the woman.

Anyone with information on the robbery should contact Bangor police at 947-7384 and ask for Joel Nadeau. The department’s tip line can be used by pressing ext. 6.
