MILBRIDGE, Maine — Construction of the building that will soon house the town office and public library is nearing completion on School Street.

The roof peak design of the new one-story building mimics the architectural roof peak detail of the circa-1900 building it has replaced.

The new building is expected to be phased into use before March 1.
