MILO – Carolyn D. Sinclair, 78, passed from this life into heaven Feb. 3, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Brownville, with her girls around her. She was born Oct. 10, 1934, in Medford, the seventh child and fourth daughter of Daniel H. and Eva (Dean) Lovejoy.
She married the love of her life, Robert S. Sinclair, in 1955, and together they raised five children. Carolyn was a member of Park Street United Methodist Church and Milo High School Alumni Association, where she was serving as secretary.
She is survived by four daughters, Robbie Grant and husband, Gary, of Brownville Junction, Eva Lambert and husband, Vance, of Charleston, Paula Copeland, with whom she had made her home for the last days of her life, of Brownville, and Penny Demers and companion, Scott Walton, of Dover-Foxcroft; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Sinclair of Florida; two brothers, Kenneth Lovejoy and wife, Nancy, of Wayne, and Stuart Lovejoy of Florida; and two sisters, Inez Scott of Chula Vista, Calif., and Hope Dyer and husband, Lewis, of Milo. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Allen; and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Park Street United Methodist Church, Milo, with the Rev. Michele St. Cyr officiating.
