HOULTON – Anna J. Jones, 81, died Feb. 2, 2013, at a local hospital. She was born April 18, 1931, at Houlton, daughter of LeRoy and Ann (Berry) Foster.
Anna was a cook at Dana’s Restaurant and Miss Aroostook Diner, and for 20 years at Mildred L. Day Elementary School.
Anna is survived by her two sons, Stephen Jones and companion, Terri Moulton, of Houlton, and Alan Brown and wife, Jami, of Old Town; six grandchildren, Jesse Jones, Nevaeh Jones, Hannah Way, Brian Currie Jr., Barry Currie and Bart Currie; eight great-grandchildren, Brody Hodsdon, Haidee Hodsdon, Haelin Way, Harper Way Kendra Currie, Brandon Currie, Aidan Currie and Taeberia Currie; one sister, Jean Henderson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James H. Jones; parents; four brothers, Merle, Cyril, Hayden and Bertron; four sisters, Hilda Ramsay, Raida Tyrrell, Phyllis Jay and Geraldine Henderson.
Friends may call 11 a.m. until the time of the service 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dunn Funeral Home with the Rev. Randall Burns officiating. Spring interment will be at Howard Cemetery, West Kennebunk.
