BRUNSWICK, Maine — Police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint late Wednesday.

The man entered the Big Apple on Bath Road just after 9:30 p.m., brandished a handgun and demanded cash, according to a Brunswick Police Department news release.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male with medium build standing between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall, the release said. He was wearing camouflage pants, a hooded jacket and a black ski mask.

Anyone with information should call Brunswick police at 725-6670.
