EXETER – Mildred (Baughan) Santarpia, 85, died Jan. 30, 2013, at a Greenville nursing home. She was born Dec. 11, 1927, in Newport News, Va., a daughter of Edmond and Lillie (Sacra) Baughan. She moved to Maine in 1988.

Mildred is survived by her children, Sandra and husband, Frederick Sammis, of Branford, Conn., Cynthia Vollero and William Kellogg of Newport, Randolph and wife, Holly Evarts, of Pittsfield, Ellsworth and wife, Lisa Evarts, of Northford, Conn., and Patricia and husband, Glenn Ludden, of Greenville; siblings, Edmond, Gloria and Patricia; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call 5 p.m. until the time of funeral services 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport, with the Rev. Vasha Piermont officiating.
