Linda L. Daigle

FORT KENT – Linda L. Daigle, 68, passed away Jan. 25, 2013, with her family by her side. She was born Aug. 31, 1944, in Albany, N.Y.

She is survived by her four children, Cary and his wife, Michelle Daigle, of Clifton Park, N.Y., John Daigle and companion, Susie Pelletier, of Fort Kent, Andrew and his wife, Candy Daigle, of Fort Kent and Angela and her husband, Keith Beaulieu, of Fort Kent. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Zachary, Lindsey, Hannah, Lance, Jacob, Larissa, Mackenna and Trinity Daigle, Breanna, Blake and Chance Beaulieu, and another one on the way; her mother, Mildred M. Richardson of Clifton Park, N.Y.; many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. She was predeceased by her sister, Janice Smith; and brother, Andrew Richardson.

Linda was employed at the Hideaway for her son John for the last five years. She was always there to help John and of course living next door John could always count on her. Prior to the Hideaway, Linda worked at Shop ‘n Save for five years. She was to be seen working in the deli department. Before this Linda was employed for SAD 27 as a substitute teacher for 14 years, and she enjoyed working with the students. She enjoyed cooking, reading, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her 11 grandchildren. She was a photographer in her own way. She used to love taking pictures of every event happening and always had a camera around just in case. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A special thank you to all the great people who took the time to visit mom, either at the nursing home while she was there or at her home. Please know that meant a lot to her and the family. Thank you hospice for the care you’ve done for our mother, and to the special friends and family who brought mom food, visited or sent cards her way. Please know this is all greatly appreciated to the family.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. James Albert officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to Forest Hill Manor Activities Fund, 25 Bolduc Ave., Fort Kent, ME 04743. Arrangements are a service of Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent.
