MADAWASKA – Jonathan James “JJ” Thomas passed away in the arms of his loving parents and his Tante TT, Jan. 24, 2013, at a Bangor health care facility. During his two short days on earth, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. He was born Jan. 22, 2013, beloved son of Glen and Jean (Pelletier) Thomas of Madawaska.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his two siblings, Samantha and Nicholas of Madawaska; maternal grandmother, Jeannette Pelletier of Madawaska; maternal grandfather, Rosaire and his wife, Therese, of Edmundston; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Yvette Thomas of St. Francis; his tante, Tina “TT” St. Jarre and her husband, Mark, and their son, Alex, of Oakland; his noncle, John Pelletier and his wife, Brigitte, and their sons, Cameron and Carson, of Waxhaw, N.C.; tante, Tina Theriault and her husband, Tom, and their son, Cody, and daughter, Tiffany, of St. Francis; his godparents, Tante Donna and Noncle Pierre Dubay of St. Agatha; many great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church. Spring interment will be held in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in JJ’s memory may be made to Eastern Maine Medical Center Foundation, Neonatal ICU, P.O.
