Coach Richard Barron’s keys to the game: “We need to play strong post defense, rebound well and have good shot selection.”

Game notes: The Black Bears hope bounce back after Sunday’s tough 67-65 home loss to Binghamton and halt their 14-game losing streak with a strong road performance. The Catamounts are coming off a 68-53 loss at Stony Brook. UVM is a good rebounding team but, like UMaine, struggles with turnovers. The Catamounts feature two Mainers in York’s Taylor and Kayla Burchill of Portland.
