Kittery swimmer making waves for Saint Michael’s College

DOVER — Andrew Marshall of Kittery, Maine, a senior on the Saint Michael’s College men’s swim team, was named to the Northeast-10 Conference honor roll for a week in which he posted eight top -three finishes in three dual meets last week

In a meet against Bentley, the St. Thomas Aquinas High School graduate won the 1,000-yard freestyle, took second in the 500 free, helped the 400 relay finish third and swam the fastest 50 free leg of the 200 individual medley while finishing fourth overall.

Marshall won the 500 free and finished second in the 1,000 free against St. Rose.

He was second in the 1,000 free against Le Moyne and swam a leg for the 200 medley relay that took second place.

Marshall also swam a leg for the 200 free relay that finished fourth and placed fourth individually in the 500 free.

For the season, he leads the men’s team with nine victories overall, including eight in individual events.
