Police seeking men who robbed Portland apartment of money, prescription drugs at gunpoint

PORTLAND, Maine — Police are searching for two white males after an armed robbery at an apartment at 132 Marginal Way on Friday evening, according to officials.

The men forced their way into an apartment around 8 p.m. using a shotgun and a handgun and demanded money and drugs, according to a news release from the city of Portland. They left with money, prescription drugs and video game equipment without injuring anyone, according to the release.

The building contains housing for USM students and other college-age residents.
