Game notes: The Black Bears, mired in the worst start in program history, face a tough test against the defending league champions. Albany has won three straight and nine of 10. Maine must try to contain the team that tops AE in scoring (66.4 ppg), points allowed (50.2 ppg) and rebounding margin (plus-10.9). The Bears are without freshmen Anna Heise and Sophie Weckstrom because of ankle injuries.
