Burglary reported at vacant Belfast trailer

BELFAST, Maine — Police are investigating a burglary and theft at a vacant trailer on Turkey Farm Road, which is just off Poors Mill Road.

Belfast Police Det. Sgt. Bryan Cunningham reported in a press release that the burglary is believed to have taken place sometime between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday.

A vehicle had been parked on Turkey Farm Road, he said, and the suspects had to walk some distance to the trailer.

The release did not indicate what the damage was or what was taken.

Anyone who may have seen a vehicle and or people on the road are asked to contact Officer Brian Lunt or Cunningham at 338-5255.
