Saco police holding citizen police academy

SACO, Maine — The Saco Police Department will hold its third annual Citizen Police Academy starting Feb. 20, the department announced in a news release.

The program runs eight weeks, with classes 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays at the Saco Police Department.

The class is open to anyone ages 18 and up, but preference will be given to residents of Saco. Applications are available at www.sacomaine.org or at the police department at 20 Storer St.
