Simpson Sr. and wife, Beth, of Corinna; six grandchildren, Debbie Duthie of Augusta, Amy Webster of Old Orchard Beach, Adam Wyman and wife, Kristen, of Cambridge, and Sarrah, Samantha and RJ Simpson of Corinna; four great-grandchildren, Katie, Colby, Hunter and Emma; nephews, Kenneth and Keith Veazie; special nephew, Eric Libby; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, John French and wife, Charlene- of Atkinson; son-in-law, Thomas Wyman of Biddeford; and many other extended family members. Roger was predeceased by his wife, Muriel; daughter, Althea; son-in-law, George R. Duthie; two sisters, Christine and Phyllis; and brother, Robert. Roger along with his stories and wit will be greatly missed by his many friends and family, including Elmer and Ann Zimmerman, Phil and Georgia Cossar, Arlene Hersey, Suzanna, Catherine and Karen Martin; and Roger’s dog, Dick. Thank you to the staff of Mayo Hospital for their care and assistance.
A graveside memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Corinna Center Cemetery, with Pastor Sam McKeen of Cambridge, officiating.
