FORT MILL, S.C., and EAST MILLINOCKET – James “Jim” Clark died unexpectedly Dec. 27, 2012, at the age of 56 at his home in South Carolina. He was born Jan. 22, 1956, to Ervin and Susie Clark in Medway.
Jim attended the University of Maine, Orono, before embarking on a 35-year career in the paper industry. His most recent position brought him back to his roots at Great Northern Paper Co., which he was very proud to be a part of. He was the most driven man who took pride in all of his accomplishments.
He is survived by his wife, Beth; daughter, Sunshine Feldman, son-in-law, Dave, and grandchildren, Grayson and Lydia, of Seattle; his brother, John Clark and his wife, Blanche, of Bangor; his sister, Helen McReavy of Howland; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Ervin and Susie Clark; his sister, Suzanne Jarvis; and his brother, Leroy Clark. Grampy Jim worshipped his grandchildren, loved his cat Moose, enjoyed playing golf and spending time with countless friends. He will be sadly missed by all.
A gathering was held Sunday, Dec. 30, at his home in Fort Mill, S.C., with another to be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Town Hall, Main Street, East Millinocket.
