WEST BROOKFIELD, Mass. – Goldie V. Hamilton, 92, formerly of Wales, Mass., wife of the late Everett R. Hamilton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, West Brookfield, Mass. She was born in Palmyra, daughter of the late George and Laura (Estes) Field.
Goldie retired as a nurse’s aide from Johnson Memorial Hospital, and was a member of the Palmer Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Goldie is survived by her five grandchildren, Rhonda Shaw and her husband, Kevin, Donald Peterson and his wife, Lesliemarie, Michael Peterson and his wife, Pam, Ronald Peterson Jr., and Margaret Boyle; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Braley; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Ronald Peterson and his wife, Hazel; and 11 siblings.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at the Palmer Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 133 Old Palmer Road, Brimfield, Mass.
