I’ve got a feeling that we’ll be seeing a whole lot of this headline over the next few years, where our Bears seek to avenge loss to…….

    • Ryan McLaughlin

Maybe you guys are too pessimistic

      • Joe

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me over and over and over again, call me a Black Bear hockey fan.

Time for a change, Steve. Bring in Monty!

Hard to be optimistic when you’ve had one “good” season in the past 6 years.

Funny how many 2-0 first period leads TIMMAY’s teams have had in the NCAA tourney, only to end up losing 5-2, or something like that. Wonder why that is?

Great, Tim put all the names in the hat and picked new lines. Well, I guess it couldn’t be any worse, right?

What is the total cost to have Maine in this tournament? Flying the whole team to Florida, a team that is 2-11-2 this season has got to be expensive. $50,000 total cost wouldn’t surprise me. What in the world are they thinking? The State Government is freezing spending and there are plenty of Maine residents “going without” a lot things some of us take for granted. How much money does the University of Maine get from the State every year anyway? This is crazy.

    • Joe

Probably no more expensive than their trip to Kansas City earlier this year or trips to North Dakota, Michigan, and Alaska in recent years. You can’t decide midway through the season whether or not to go to scheduled games.

Perhaps Timmy will miss his flight back?

I can’t help but wonder how members of the team feel, reading these posts about their coach day after day after day after day after day…

    • Ryan McLaughlin

My guess is they ignore it and focus on playing hard game in and game out.

      • Anonymous

        Gotta be discouraging.

        • Anonymous

Not nearly as discouraging as not putting out a full effort in games. When’s the last time Maine teams haven’t taken a period or two off? Maybe the BC game this year?

    • JG

Probably not as bad as they feel playing for their pitiful coach day after day after day…

  • nostrajimus

now that the team is healthy and near full strength, then they should win at least 1 of these games
