Bertram A. Larrabee Jr.

ST. ALBANS – Bertram A. Larrabee Jr., 65, died Dec. 27, 2012, at a Portland hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1947, in Dexter, a son of Bertram and Lois “Polly” (Woodbury) Larrabee, Sr.

He graduated from Dexter High School. Bert was employed many years at Eastland Woolen Mill, Corinna, and retired from Irving Tanning Co., Hartland. Bert was always happy go lucky. He enjoyed hunting with Ray and was a great conversationalist.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Jennie McDougal; son, Galen Larrabee, both of St. Albans; daughter, Elizabeth Larrabee of Plymouth; brother, Clifford Larrabee of Dexter; two sisters, Janice Giles of Guilford and Eden Larrabee of Exeter; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport, where funeral services will begin 6 p.m. with the Rev. Ronald Parker officiating. Spring burial will be at Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Those who wish may leave written tributes at
