Candace ‘Candy’ Catherine (Casey) Randall

BANGOR – Candace “Candy” Catherine (Casey) Randall, 59, passed away peacefully Dec. 22, 2012, at her residence. She was born Aug. 6, 1953, in Calais, the daughter of Frederick Casey and Lois (Scott) Stimson.
Candy was inspired to return for her diploma from Bangor High School in 1993 wearing her daughter’s cap and gown. She was a certified nurse’s aide and mental health worker among many things. Candy worked at Bangor Mental Health Institute and the Levinson Center as well as home healthcare. She enjoyed garage sales, thrift stores, watching football with her husband and grandson, journaling, cooking, and star gazing, but mostly spending time with family and friends. Candy was extremely generous and family orientated.
Surviving, in addition to her loving husband, William “Bill” Randall and mother; are her daughter, Jennifer and husband, Timothy; grandson, Jesse; sisters, Donna and husband, Jeff, and Linda; aunts, Charlene and Greta; uncle, Ernest; and several cousins, nephews and extended family. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Dennis Stimson.
A gathering of remembrance will be held noon-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Pine Grove Remembrance Center, 1347 Hammond St., Bangor. Gifts in her memory may be made to Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mount Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, Bangor.
