“Judge Susan Sparaco agreed to allow Odom to be released from jail Monday
with the condition that he remain at his home, not have contact with
children, and sign the pretrial contract within 48 hours.”

“An intoxilyzer test found his blood alcohol level at 0.24 — three times
greater than the 0.08 limit considered to be under the influence.”

” following a single car crash in which police said he was intoxicated and carrying a 7-year-old.”

” The prosecutor cited a prior OUI conviction this year and a criminal mischief conviction for breaking a car windshield.”

Useless judge. Thank her for ensuring someone will have to deal with him again (probably when he kills someone else and gets 30 days in jail for it)

    *sigh*

Quoting the key points and then making my comment at the end. Is that okay? Do you have a specific template you’d like us all to follow? Did all those words make you angry or something? I can do pictures instead, if you’d like.

Say it like ya mean it, that’s all that counts. This isn’t English Class. Past-participial pronoun yer arse. =)

The public is not illiterate??? I would suggest that if they don’t have the excuse of illiteraticy they are ignorant.

        • Bill Cat

Hey, what’s he mean by that “illiterate” anyhow? Dunno, maybe something to do with light bulbs… What’s he cranking about then? Our tree has been illiterated for a few days now… ACK!

Good going Judge. under aged guy that was drunk behind the wheel and had a 7 year old in the car? Where did the child end up? It’s nice to know he will be home for the holidays.

If there were an instance in the past few days that demanded a stay in jail, until a hearing, this would be the one. I realize people are entitled to bail, but enough is enough.

  • Anonymous

Hmmmm… the judge should have let him on bail based on his “Good Citizenship…”

Who’s child, why did he have a 7 year old, who’s child did he have and why??

    • Good question. That’s exactly what I was really curious about. Seems like it would be some pretty relevant information, no?

The jerk should have spent Christmas in a jail cell. He certainly needs something to sink in and get a clue.

  • Anonymous

What a frickin joke. He should never have been let out on bail. He could very well have killed himself, the 7 year old and a bunch of others on his excursion. Thanks judge. We the public are so proud of your actions.

          Judge Susan Sparaco 2008

The feds claim that a person is not responsible enough to drink alcohol until the age of 21. So how can Odom be held responsible? Shouldn’t they be trying to find out who supplied the booze?

  • Anonymous

Thanks “Judge”. You make our streets safer at night by worrying about criminals making it home for Christmas. Hopefully this kid doesn’t get a snoot full of eggnog and decide to go for a spin.

Twenty years old. One previous DUI and a BAC of .24, this young many likely has a problem. He should have been charged with child endangerment as well. I don’t have any real problem with his being released for Christmas but it should have been with a high bail along with the release conditions. It would be nice if Mr. Odom would realize he is well on way to a lifetime of heartbreak and disappointment and get the help he needs NOW.
