Card, White help Ellsworth girls basketball team defeat John Bapst

BANGOR — The Ellsworth Eagles outscored the John Bapst Crusaders 17-10 in the third quarter to open up a an eight-point lead en route to a 44-37 schoolgirl basketball victory at the Bangor Auditorium Friday night.

Morgan Card connected for a game-high 16 points to lead 2-1 Ellsworth, while Taylor White scored 12.

Jordan Turner tallied 15 points to propel 1-2 John Bapst.
