Well now. I recall taking a lot of guff about my skeptical remarks on this poor hero being smashed up by thugs while valiantly doing his job, protecting us from violent creeps, yatta, yatta, yatta — behind a shed in the dark. Lookee there, he resigned a couple hours before he was gonna be fired. That’ll look better on his app at WalMart.

    • probably make more there at wallmart

Didn’t know there was a Walmart in Machias? If he does get a job with Walmart he automatically qualifies for Food Stamps , Medicaid and Housing subsidies. Not to mention free Heat subsidy. Walmart even gives the address of the State Welfare Agency during their new employee orientation.

    You saw a noise?

    ….Really?

    Pfffftt !!

See you on the clam flats.

I thought that when someone applies for a job, the former employer can’t say anything negative about someone, to a potential new employer. How can the commissioners make that kind of a decision? That’s just mean and spiteful. The only person Mr. Lyons hurt by this incident, was himself.
