NEWBURGH – James “Jamie” Allen Turner, 42, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012. He was born July 18, 1970, in Bangor, the son of Michael W. and Sandra (Ross) Turner Sr.
Jamie was raised on the North Road, Newburgh. He spent his youth enjoying the outdoors, hunting and fishing, working on cars and being with his family. After high school Jamie went on to work in the automotive industry as a sales representative.
He was predeceased by his father, Michael W. Turner Sr. Jamie is survived by his mother, Sandra (Ross) Turner of Newburgh; two children, Codey and Natashia Turner of Newburgh, who were his pride and joy; brother, Michael W. Turner and his wife, Kate, of Oakland; many other aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. He was “our” gentle giant that left us way too soon.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Rogers Hill Cemetery, North Road, Newburgh. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
