Rabbi lights menorah during ceremony at Bangor Mall

Rabbi Moshe Wilansky of the Chabad Lubavitch of Maine lights the menorah at the Bangor Mall on Tuesday, Dec.11, 2012, the fourth night of Hanukkah.

BANGOR, Maine — Rabbi Moshe Wilansky of the Chabad Lubavitch of Maine lit the menorah at the Bangor Mall on Tuesday, the fourth night of Hanukkah.

Letters from Maine politicians, including Gov. Paul LePage were read, songs were sung along with dancing and all in attendance were invited to partake in snacks after the lighting.

“We’re here to show everybody about the miracle and make everybody excited about the miracle of Hanukkah” said Rabbi Wilansky.
