FORT KENT – Patricia Cote Cyr, 91, died peacefully Dec. 9, 2012, surrounded by her family at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Grand Isle, the daughter of Paul and Agnes (Martin) Cote.
Patricia enjoyed gardening and tending to her plants and flowers, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by three children, Peter Cyr of Fort Kent, Dorothy and her husband, Roger Bouchard, of Clair, New Brunswick, and Joel and his wife, Penny Cyr, of East Berlin, Conn.; one brother, Louis Cote of Arizona; three grandchildren, Danny Bouchard and his companion, Tina Gagnon, Giselle and her husband, Mark Cyr, and Roy Cyr; five great-grandchildren, Nicole and Ryan Cyr, and Xavier Gagnon, Brianna and Diana Bouchard and their mother, Brenda Landry; also several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Cyr, in 1997; four sisters, Claire Chasse, Lucille Fongemie, Beatrice Carrier and Theresa Karpinski; and one brother, Bertrand Cote. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Friends may call 9-10:45 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be held at St. Luce Cemetery, Frenchville.
