Jonathan ‘Jon-Jon’ R. Worster

GREENBUSH – Jonathan R. Worster, 23, died unexpectedly Dec. 9, 2012, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born Feb. 17, 1989, in Bangor, a son of Ernest R. Worster and Darlene A. (Young) Giffard.

Jon was employed at Labree’s Bakery and for the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed fixing computers, video games, working on cars and practical jokes. He enjoyed his close circle of friends. He was a tremendous help to his mom and Ryan with their carpet cleaning business.

He is survived by his mother, Darlene and companion, Ryan Severance, of Greenbush; father, Ernest Worster and wife, Rita, of Carmel; brother, Nick Worster and companion, Kelly, of Carmel; maternal grandmother, Loretta Mitchell of Bangor; paternal grandfather, Al Worster Sr. of Carmel; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and very special friends, Nicole and Andy. He was predeceased his maternal grandfather, Mitch Mitchell; and paternal grandmother, Glenice Worster

A celebration of his life will be conducted 10 a.m.-noon Thursday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. Burial will be in the spring at Butterfield Cemetery, Prentiss. Notes of condolence can be left at www.birminghamfuneralhome.com.
