Imagine that ! 2 of the kids that have monthly honors in Hockey East are from Jim Montgomery’s Hockey teams. Yet neither of them play for Maine. And all because TIMMAY is to stubborn. Imagine the talent Jim Montgomery will be able to bring into Maine! Did I forget to mention there are 5 players total from his past teams that are playing in Hockey East. And oh yea none of them play for us ! Fire TIMMAY and hire Jimmy !

This quote from Ron Mason says it all.

“Playing with heart” was always the one thing, in my mind, that differentiated Maine Hockey from other schools during most games because I remember Maine always playing with a chip on their shoulder and playing to win. It has been a while since I really felt that they’ve played a full 60 minutes with heart and I’d love to see that competitive edge back at the Alfond.

maybe a lucky rabbits foot would help, haven’t been able to watch a whole game in 3 years.. You do not build a good team over the years, Creating winning teams is evolution. every year players should be drafted to compliment the existing great team. . You don’t take four years to build a one year team..
