Hit her right in the bucksport with a car, did she? Dang, ain’t that a separate charge right there? =) The caption left something to be desired…

KARMA for Ms. Stanley! Only $600 in fines for running into someone under the influence, illegal attachment of plates, leaving the scene of an accident, dirty spoon & needle in the seat….And a speeding ticket has a heftier fine than she got!?

    A little hottie..

She won’t be a hottie much longer if she stays on the heroin wagon.

  • County Escapee

She should feel blessed that she hurt the girl only half as bad as the mailbox…

Wait, what? She was intoxicated and hit a child and she goes to drug court, while on probation from another drug-related charge? This makes no sense.

Perhaps you could write or call Prosecutor Mary Kellett and ask exactly what the hell is going on with a deferred sentence on a deferred sentence as punishment for Ms. Stanley’s refusal to follow court orders and the law. Personally, I would love to hear her thoughts.

Something tells me that if I asked Prosecutor Kellet that question, she would not be able to look me in the eye and answer.

Sound’s to me that she has had more than enough chances!!!
Time for a little jail time to think things over.

Exactly, our new DA has no spine! If she had a heaftier sentence the 1st time maybe she wouldn’t have run over that poor girl!

    Sing it with me now.

    Money money money! Mooonnneeeeyy!

Who’s her attorney again? Does he have connections? On the surface, this is ridiculous!

It was not a child. The person hit was 24.

Unbelievable. This young woman gets a deferred sentence if she stays out of trouble, then gets another deferred sentence when she proves she can’t stay out of trouble. Sometimes I think our laws and our judges are a total joke.

At the rate they’re going, I expect the prosecutor and judge will apologize to Stanley the next time she’s in court.

They should offer her money too in lieu of a fine.

Your comment had me laughing pretty hard. My first laugh of the day. Thanks!
