Glad to see the BPD doing some training. The story reads like the new Chief is getting things done and empowering others to think outside the box and bring ideas to the table. Good work Shaw. Great job Chief Arno.

I really hope that my old alma mater doesn’t become a permanent home for this, or any, church. I’d really like to see it used for something that opens people’s minds, rather than closes it.

HA is my alma mater as well. I could care less who uses the old building. I personally am glad to see the possibility of God moving back into a building He was chased out of back in the 60’s. I have serious doctrinal issues with the Apostolic brand of Pentecostalism, but as my moniker states, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

at least the church is going to pay the town of Hampden for use of the building.

I am glad that the building will be used. And the owner/town should be paid, I agree, no matter who uses it, or for what.

Oh no, not another church clan on a valuable piece of taxable property ? The Town needs to voice their opinion loud and strong. This is a perfect piece of property for the entire community to enjoy and use not a select group or two. I personally liked the idea of a community / senior center / gym and in the summer the flea market / swap shop idea. so all can be involved as a community. This is not good and needs to be addressed by, all the voters asap……Please call the town manager
