Sheila (McCann) Youngs

HOWLAND AND PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Sheila (McCann) Youngs, 71, wife of Sayre M. Youngs, died Nov. 30, 2012, at a Howland health care facility. She was born Nov. 6, 1941, in Portsmouth, N.H., daughter of John and Arlene (Odiorne) McCann.

Sheila loved the beach. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, traveling, music and going to plays.

In addition to her loving husband of 30 years, Sayre, she is survived by two sons, Christopher and Timothy Maloney; daughter, Deanna Rancourt and husband, Tim; brother, Edward McCann; sister-in-law, Laura McCann; four stepchildren, Bradley Youngs, Stuart Youngs and wife, Valerie, Tamara Crider and husband, Scott, and Meredith Preisner and husband, Craig; grandchildren, Morgan, Marcus, Meredith, Victoria, Mackenzie, Bradley and Raley; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, John, Richard and Paul McCann.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at J. Verne Wood Funeral Home, Portsmouth, N.H., where visitation will be held 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
