BLUE HILL, Maine — A rollover accident Sunday in Blue Hill resulted in two Sedgwick men suffering minor head injuries and requiring treatment at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital.
William Davis, 20, was driving a 1987 Volkswagen Cabrio when he lost control on a curve on South Street just after noon. According to Maine State Police Trooper Greg Roy, Davis was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car when it rolled on its side. A passenger, Brett Gagne, 20, was wearing a seat belt and also suffered a head injury. Both were treated and released by Sunday evening.
Roy said speed was a factor in the accident, but alcohol was not. The vehicle involved was totaled, Roy said.
