Great job Coach Holmes. Enjoy your travel time with Ruth, you both deserve it.

Mr. (Coach) Holmes is one of the most respected men in the town of Belfast. Quite frankly I consider myself privileged to have had Mr. Holmes as both a teacher and a boys basketball coach.

He is man of integrity and honesty. He walks the talk and has been a role model for many young people- like I once was- growing up in Belfast, who looked to him for guidance on how to be an exceptional human being.

Many of us are better people today because of him.

Thank you for your service to the community, Coach. All the best.

some of my fondest memories of high school were times spent on the field, hearing coach’s encouragement, knowing the harder i tried the more proud he’d be. it’s not an easy thing to get a teenage girl to that, coach did it with ease and grace, and not just for me, for all who were lucky enough to have him as a coach.
