So much for the typical stereotypes surrounding the prescription drug problem. Also strikes me as kind of odd that this guy was not charged with intent to distribute. Felony to attempt to buy the drugs, but no charge whatsoever for trying to sell them? Seems to me they have things a bit backwards. But then again; it’s good business not to actually solve these problems…. Just ask Corrections Corporation of America…

Eh, they seem to have a very exclusive group, rapists, drug users, drug dealers, they all seem to just mesh together.

Not just someone. Someone who was incapacitated with injury, was a relative and was about 7th grade. He is a sick man who needs to be given a lethal dose of his needed medicines.

      You’re being sarcastic right…?

      • Anonymous

Actually no I was not being sarcastic. I was referring to the investigation that led to the charges. As you stated this incident was not stereotypical.
I agree with you 100% in that the charges should have been more severe.

excuse me, why does this man get a misdemeanor for filing a false report and not get a felony for trying to SELL his meds? If he were in his 20s he would have been charged. What’s the difference?
