LINCOLN – Jesi-Rai Dawn Burleigh, 24, died unexpectedly Nov. 23, 2012, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born Oct. 19, 1988, in Lincoln, the daughter of Brent and Tammy (Davis) Burleigh.
Jesi-Rai was a loving mother – Zachary and Xandir were her everything. There was nothing she wouldn’t have done for her boys. Her house was always filled with love and laughter; memories made that will last them a lifetime. Jesi and her father shared a passion for snow sledding and racing together. In her short 24 years, Jesi-Rai touched many lives and hearts. Her strong will and big heart will not soon be forgotten by any that got the chance to know her.
In addition to her sons, Zachary S. Springer and Xandir A. Springer of Lincoln, she is survived by her father, Brent Burleigh and his wife, Kim, of Macwahoc; her mother, Tammy Asher and her husband, Adam, of Lincoln; four sisters, Heather Severance and her husband, Linwood III, of Lincoln, Kim Dupuis of Chester, Breanna Burleigh and Britney Burleigh, both of Lincoln; nieces, Fiona Severance and Gabrielle Theriault; nephew, Connor Burleigh; her significant other, Anthony Dupuis and his children, Megan and Brandon; several grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
