NO charges filed, yet the driver may be out of work. Paper loads dont just tip over from doing less than the speed limit. If you get my drift (pardon the pun).

    • Anonymous

      they sometimes do.

    • Agreed. And even if they did just tip over, the load was unstable and the driver is still at fault.

      • Anonymous

If the load was unstable, that would be on the people who loaded the trailer improperly.

No, it’s the DRIVER’s responsibility to check the load. And if it isn’t safe, the truck shouldn’t move. But nice try.

          • Downeasta

Correct. The driver was the one whom looked at the load before they left and considered whether it was safe to roll. It is our duty to keep the load / public safe. Not the person whom just loaded the trailer.

        • Ever seen a load of rolled paper that Pottle’s hauls? These don’t just fall over. Especially with enough force to roll a truck and trailer over.

          • Anonymous

I expect someone will just try to paper this whole thing over.

  • Guest

OH crap!!! He did put the squeeze on the charmin.

Given the size of the rolls, I’m thinking this was a load of custom-made toilet paper for liberals.
