Good story. A guy I grew up with became paralyzed back in the late 1990’s. He, like Mr. Tracy wasn’t going to let it hold him back, especially from hunting. He came up with an off road wheelchair design. If anyone’s interested in his story, here it is: http://www.renegadewheelchairs.com/The_Story.htm

Having known Russel and his family for quite awhile I consider myself fortunate. He has demonstrated that whining gains you nothing, but using your best assets puts you on top.

I have hunted deer all my life.I have been in the biggest buck club 3 times. But now I look at it alot different, Men like this gentleman deserve the highest credit for going forward with life. His thinking is so great.People like me think it is so hard to go into the woods and hunt these big animals. I am more proud of this man now, than any of my deer I have got. Keep your head up sir.Your one tough guy.

Good job, PETA wont be happy, they are really upset over the coyote harvesting contest in New Mexico…One with the most dead coyotes wins..

Stupid remark from a stupid perspective. Learn about science in relation to coyotes before you inject anymore stupidity into a great article. In the age of lazy four wheeling hunting and drive through window fake hunting shows it is nice to see a healthy person work for a worthy buck. This man overcomes his obstacle and gets my reward for real hunter of the year.

Dont be upset….Go and worship the coyote…

Nothing that Russel ever accomplishes would surprise me…he is an inspiration to all — he moves forward always with determination.
