Marjorie (Caulkins) Kennedy

BANGOR – Marjorie Jean (Caulkins) Kennedy, 65 passed away Nov. 18, 2012 at her home. Marjorie was born June 2, 1947, in Bangor, to the late Donald and Esther (Peterson) Caulkins.
Marjorie had a mischievous spirit and always had a good time with family and friends. She liked seeing the family come together for summer barbecues at Alan and Donna’s camp in St. Albans. Marjorie was a hard worker and kept a very clean home. She cherished the many years of marriage to Leo and missed him deeply after his passing. She devoted recent years to She devoted recent years to caring for her two “little angels,” Dolly and Matilda.
Marjorie is survived by her brothers, Allen Caulkins of Newburgh, Elden Caulkins of Levant, Ernest Caulkins of Winterport, and Frank Caulkins of Levant; her sisters, Caroline Lane of Buxton, Donna Nason of St. Albans, Joan Shanley of Bangor, and Linda Zotynia of Charleston; her stepdaughter, Kathy Zeman of Bucksport. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Leo Kennedy; her brothers, Earl, Gary and Philip Caulkins; her sister, Gloria Nevells; and her aunt, Mary Caulkins.
Family and friends are invited to call 7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Marjorie’s memory to CancerCare of Maine, care of Eastern Maine Charities, P.O. Box 1931, Bangor, ME 04402.
