MILLINOCKET – Leonard Small Jr., 76, passed peacefully Nov. 19, 2012. He was born Jan. 26, 1936, in Pittsfield, son of the late Vivian O’Donnel and Leonard Small Sr.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for three years in Germany, where he met the love of his life, and was married to for 53 years, Gerlinde (Jutzi) Small. Leonard enjoyed many trips to Germany and throughout the U.S., and most importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Melinda Small; as well as five loving grandchildren, Ryan and wife, Christina, Small, Danielle Stormann and partner, Michael, Chelsey and husband, Fred Dailey, Aimee Stormann and Ashley Small; one great-grandson, Brody Dailey; sister, Joan Small; several nieces and nephews, along with many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law within the U.S. and Germany. Leonard was predeceased by his daughter, Debby Stormann; and his brothers.
At Leonard’s request, there will be no service held. Donations in his honor maybe made to CancerCare of Maine, Lafayette Family Cancer Center, Brewer.
