GREENVILLE – Ralph “Sonny” Bartlett, 88, died Nov. 15, 2012, at Maine Veteran’s Home, Bangor. He was born July 9, 1924, in Greenville Junction, the son of Ralph and Dorothy Bartlett.

Sonny was a graduate of Greenville High School. He served in the Pacific Theater with the Marine Air Corps in World War II. After the war he married Mary Lucille “Lu” Bartlett and returned to Greenville and started a family. He was a sea plane pilot for a short time and then started as a forester for Scott Paper Co. He purchased Bartlett’s Camps on Harford’s Point and made many friends with the guests at the camps. As did most Mainers, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and most things outdoors. He was always moving forward and it is our hope he still is. There is so much more to say, but those who knew him would understand.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Lucille Bartlett; his second wife, Sharon O’Conner; and his grandson, Ryan Bartlett. Sunny is survived by his two sons, Rob and Mark; and his grandson, Kyle.

A memorial service will be held in spring 2013. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Greenville. For an online guest register, go to www.CrosbyNeal.com.
