SCARBOROUGH, Maine — A Portland man is facing a trio of charges after a burglary at an audio store in Scarborough, police said.

Witnesses say they observed Kaysean Dayrean Moss, 38, gain entry to the business at 7:44 a.m. Friday by throwing a rock through a glass door, according to a press release from Scarborough police.

Police were quickly called to the scene and, even though Moss fled the store before police could arrive, a canine track led to his arrest, police said.

Moss had removed stereo components from the store, the release stated, but left them near the business.

Moss was booked into the Cumberland County Jail and charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He remained there Friday afternoon.
