    Ambitious plans are great, but lest he forget that grant money won’t be around forever, and secondly that it’s easy to get into a situation where a town the size of Millinocket can’t afford to maintain/support too many grant program objects as they age. In simpler terms, the Feds can give you a Cadillac, but if you can’t afford the gas down the road how much further ahead are you?

    It is nice to see a fresh outlook on a town which has suffered dearly in the past decade. Chief turcotte clearly has a strategic plan for the future of the department and this small town should be greatful for his ideas.
