ARGYLE TOWNSHIP – Barry F. Weed died Nov. 13, 2012, at his home. He was born Sept. 18, 1943, in Brewer, the son of Donald E. Weed and Arline Foster Weed.
Barry graduated from Old Town High School in 1963, attended the University of Maine and then enrolled in the Air Force. Barry met his wife, Vivien I. Weed, while in the service. They made their home in Connecticut and retired to Florida. Barry lived his life devoted to his family. He was a man of few words with a great sense of humor and with an eye to the nature of mankind.
Barry was predeceased by his father, Donald; his wife, Vivien; and his brother, Douglas E. Weed. Barry is survived by his mother, Arline Weed of Bangor; his son, Brian of Kent, Conn.; his daughter, Regina of Argyle; granddaughter, Tara of Argyle; grandson, Quinn Andrews of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
