EAST MILLINOCKET, Maine – Three teenagers were summonsed and an adult arrested after police broke up an alleged underage drinking party of a half-dozen young adults and teens at an Eastern Avenue house late Friday.
Cody Levasseur, 22, of 10 Eastern Ave., was arrested and charged with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol, Officer Kevin Giberson said.
Eric Theriault, 19, and Jonathan Sirois, 20, both of East Millinocket, were issued summonses for possession of alcohol by consumption. A 16-year-old juvenile, a girl, was also issued a summons on that charge.
An anonymous tip alerted police to a possible party at the residence at about 11:30 p.m. Friday. When Officers Jay Hallett and David Hersey arrived, they found the party in progress and issued the summonses, Giberson said.
The officers also confiscated a small amount of alcohol.
The suspects are due in Millinocket District Court on Jan. 9. Levasseur posted a personal recognizance bond, Giberson said.
