LAMOINE – Russell Lee Pinkham, 49, died Oct. 23, 2012, in Lamoine. He was born Nov. 13, 1962, in Ellsworth, a son of Lee and Janet (Rankin) Pinkham.
Russell graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1982. Upon graduating he went to work for Allen’s Blueberry Factory. He soon got his class II license and worked for various companies before going to work at Doug Gott & Sons, Southwest Harbor, where he has worked for the past 13 years. Russell was a big man with a heart of gold. There wasn’t anything Russ wouldn’t do for his family or friends. He loved to go fishing, especially with his brother-in-law, Rob. He enjoyed mowing his lawn, going camping and working with wood. He made picture frames and furniture.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at First Congregational Church UCC, 2 Church St., Ellsworth, with Pastor Bob Maddocks and the Rev Nick Davis officiating.
