Fine art, craft show will benefit Hancock County agency

ELLSWORTH, Maine — The seventh annual Gifted Hand Show will take place 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday Nov. 9, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday Nov. 10, at The Ramada Inn in the tennis court facility, 215 High St.

The event’s nonprofit partner is Friends in Action, which offers free services to elderly and disabled residents of Hancock County to enable them to live independently. Friends in Action will be host a silent auction of fine art and craft at the show. For information about Friends in Action visit faithinactionellsworth.org or call 664-6016.

The show will feature food and art and crafts created by 65 artisans from throughout Maine. Visitors to the event will find paintings and prints, jewelry, sculpture, quilts, toys and children’s goods, cards and paper goods, fiber art, clothing, pottery, handknits and handwovens, bags and totes, holiday ornaments, housewares, gourmet chocolates and skin care products. The show also will feature new artisans juried for the exceptional quality of their work.

Snacks and light meals will be available for purchase.
