Is Reasso Abbott’s twin?  Holy sh*t

  • Can’t do any worse than he did as the football coach?

The real question here is, Why does Husson even HAVE a Football team?  They do not offer scholarships and therefore will not attract any of the state talent let alone the out of state talent?  So what is the reason for having one?  This team needs to be dismantled before someone on the team becomes seriously injured facing teams that actually care about their programs.

Why not ask why the school has a baseball team, a softball team, a lacrosse team, soccer teams, basketball teams? After all, none of those programs offer scholarships.

(Psst. Husson is NCAA Division III; it can’t offer scholarships. Some kids just want to go to a school where they can continue to play a sport they love.)

Which would be nice, if it didnt cost so much and if it were somewhat successful.  Many of these poor guys playing come from state championship schools here in Maine, only to be part of a team that has very little chance of success.  Sorry, but after playing four years of football with my High School, the losses tend to wear on ya.  If you are gonna keep the program, hire a coach, if possible that can help them to compete, otherwise, get rid of the program and concentrate on those sports such as baseball and basketball that have actually shown some national success
