This is a  top secret club they call “Executive Session” where some particular embarrassing  discussions are held in the dark of night, away from average taxpayers ears.

It’s called the Good Ol’ Boys Club.  Many small towns have one.  Nicey, nicey & concerned to the publics face.  They make many decisions based on what they want, whats convenient, who’s family member wants their road tarred, who’s family member will get p’off  if they don’t receive special favors, who can do what for whom  & they have many justifications that borderline illegal in their unfairness.   That is just the way it is.

Perhaps we should rally good people then, to make it  “That is just the way it WAS.

Actually this one is more like a fire drill.
First , there is no fire it is just a drill, you go outside and then you come back inside.

There is no reason to investigate . Lizzie walked out of the Executive session and missed the discussion of Audrey’s resignation. The other 4 councilors all know the facts. Lizzie could just ask the other councilors.

Here is where the fire drill starts; Lizzie asked for a resolve to have an investigation. So at a future City Council meeting there will there will be a resolve voted on to have an investigation. That means she needs two votes to go with hers to get an investigation. (Remember that the other 4 know the score).

So if Lizzie gets the votes for an investigation , the council has to go back inside (Executive Session) and discuss a second time what Lizzie missed when she walked out.

Then they come back out and can’t say anything because they are not allowed to talk about anything from Executive session.

Lizzie got to grandstand before the cameras last night. Horay!
But her “investigation” will never reveal the details because of the Lawyers sealed the agreement.

        No way around it.
