Several hunters breakfasts and dinners are on tap in the coming weeks. Here’s a partial list:
DEXTER — Hunters breakfast at the Dexter Grange, 6 Church St., 5-9 a.m., eggs to order, sausage, bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits, pancakes, french toast, homemade toast, home fries, coffee and orange juice, $6 for adults, $3 for ages 6-11, free for 5 and younger, proceeds to help support scouting.
DIXMONT — Dixmont Gold Crest Riders Snowmobile Club hunters breakfast, at the clubhouse on Cates Road, 5:30-8:30 a.m., eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, homemade bread toast, homemade doughnuts, orange juice and coffee, $6 for adults, $3 for children younger than 12, rifle raffle winner will be drawn at 8:30 a.m.
EASTBROOK — Cave Hill School hunters breakfast, 1205 Eastbrook Road, 4-10 a.m., pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and baked beans, presale tickets $6 for adults, $4 for age 12 and younger, at the door: $7 for adults, $5 for children, Thanksgiving gift basket raffle, all proceeds to help fund a playground at the school.
FORT FAIRFIELD — Class of 2013 hunters breakfast, at the Knights of Columbus hall, Main Street, 5-9 a.m., $5 per person.
MARIAVILLE — Benefit hunters breakfast at Mariaville Grange, 5-9 a.m., eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and pancakes, $7, gun raffle, proceeds go toward stocking shelves for the What’s For Suppa? food pantry.
ORRINGTON — Hunters breakfast, Calvary Christian School, 154 River Road, 4-9 a.m., $7 for adults, $5 for children, proceeds will go to support the schools.
PROSPECT — Hunters breakfast at the Prospect Community Center, Route 1A, 5-9 a.m., cost is $6 for adults, $2 for children younger than 12, tickets for the 50-50 raffle will be sold at the door, proceeds to benefit building maintenance fund and community projects.
UNITY — Hunters supper at the American Legion Hall, 108 Windemere Lane, 4:30-6:30 p.m., $6 for adults, $3 for children, baked beans, hot dogs, rolls, casseroles, salads, beverages and desserts, door prizes all evening and raffles for two hunting rifles.
GARLAND — Hunters boiled public dinner, 5-7 p.m., Garland Grange Hall, Oliver Hill Road, menu includes corned beef, ham, cabbage, carrots, onions, turnip, squash, beets, bread and desserts, $7 for adults, $3 for children age 5-12, free for children under 5, takeout available, proceeds to benefit Garland Grange community service projects, call 924-6954.
ATKINSON — Hunters breakfast, United Methodist Church, 4:30-8 a.m., menu includes beans, eggs, sausage, biscuits, home fries, juice and coffee, $4 for adults, $2 for children younger than 12.
BAILEYVILLE — Hunters breakfast at the Odd Fellows Hall, 11 Hillside Avenue, 5-9 a.m., sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes, home fries, orange juice, toast, baked beans, coffee, tea and hot cocoa, $7 for adults, $4 for children younger than 10.
EDDINGTON — Eddington Salmon Club hunters breakfast, Route 9 and 178, 6-10 a.m., eggs to order, ham, home fries, biscuits, baked beans, pancakes, coffee, tea and juice, $6 for adults, $3 for children younger than 12.
GUILFORD — Hunters breakfast at the Masonic Lodge, Hudson Avenue, 4-8 a.m., pancakes, toast, baked beans, eggs, sausage, doughnuts, juice, coffee and tea, admission by donation, all proceeds go toward student trip in June, call 717-5271 for information.
MONROE — Monroe Lions Club hunters breakfast, Monroe Church, Route 139, 5-10 a.m., pancakes, home fries, eggs, baked beans, ham, sausage, toast and coffee, $7 for adults, $3 for children, proceeds benefit community youth activities.
PROSPECT — Prospect Volunteer Fire Department hunters breakfast, at the Prospect Community Club Building, 4-8 a.m., eggs, ham, home fries, baked beans, toast, biscuits, doughnuts, coffee and juice, $6 for adults, $2 for children younger than 12, 50-50 drawing will be held.
GREENVILLE — Hunters steak supper, American Legion Post 94, 5-8 p.m., $15 per person, BYOB, 30 turkeys will also be raffled off, proceeds to benefit high school scholarships.
