Were Thomaston Town Manager Valmore Blastow, Union Selectman Greg Grotton, and Washington Selectman Donald Grinnell, the only town/city officials present at this hearing?  I hope there were others not mentioned, but present.   Knox County decisions affect all residents Knox County.

I wonder, are more raises for county employees part of this increase?

While many of us are forced to make cuts to our household expenditures, the county increases theirs at our expense. Wages are stagnant (unless you are fortunate enough to work for the county), the cost of everything has gone through the roof and Knox County wants to increase our taxes even more. When will enough be enough, or will it ever be enough?

I hope these boys sharpen their pencils and draft another budget that the taxpayers might be able to swallow because this one is too bitter for my taste.
